A stroll around Dubrovnik
A stroll around Dubrovnik cycle involves examining the sound of colour, perforating the painting epidermis, and relativizing the painting space within the image. I applied paint with an even valerian value on each painting surface, thus emphasizing the pictorial contemplative nature and the sense of contemporary existence.
By perforating the painting surface, I try to question the painting space in a traditional sense. Through the perforated surface I integrate the epidermis structure of the other non-painting surface into this painting. This structure is upgraded with the flat life-size figures in front of images that stimulate the artwork perceptive mechanisms and that are integrated in the space within and in front of an image.
